Amarnath S Y is a Senior Vice President and heads IT – GRC Practice at ProMinds. He has over three decades of experience in banking, Information Technology, Information Systems Audit and Information Security domains.

Amarnath is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Internal Information Security Auditor (CIISA) by STQC and Lead Assessor for ISO 27001. He is a member of Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), USA and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), USA.

He has worked in Union Bank of India and was part of initial Information Technology team in early 1990s. He has also worked with Indian Banks Association (IBA) on deputation and associated with special projects like Total Branch Automation, SWIFT, BankNet and Shared ATM Network.  He has also worked with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on deputation and worked on special project in Department of Banking Supervision.

Amarnath has worked on several audit assurance and consulting assignments while he was working in Big 4 audit firms in Mumbai, Chennai, Colombo, Kuwait and Bahrain. He worked as head of Information Security Group in one of the top software companies in Chennai and successfully lead BS 7799 Certification project globally. He worked as Head of IT Internal Audit in a largest commercial bank in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and transformed the audit function from traditional audit to Risk based audit approach.

He has a rich experience in IT audits, IT internal controls reviews, IT Risk assessment and Information Security Management System (ISMS) – ISO 27001:2005.  In his audit and assurance profession, he has successfully handled several engagements in banking and financial services, Retail, Telecom, oil, IT and manufacturing industries.

Amarnath was a guest faculty for Bankers Training College, Mumbai and ISACA Mumbai and Chennai chapters. He has conducted special training programs to Bank Examiners in Audit Command Language (ACL) to Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai and Central Bank of Sri Lanka.  He had also conducted several in-house training programs wherever he had worked.

Kumar G is a Vice President of IT – GRC Practice at ProMinds, Chennai. He has over three decades of experience in Banking, Information Technology, Information Systems Audit and Information Security domains.

Kumar is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), Certified Anti-money laundering Professional (CAMLP), International Certificate holder in Banking Risk and Regulations (ICBRR) from GARP, USA, Certified Information Security Professional (CISP) by STQC and Lead Implementer for ISO 27001. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).

He has worked in Indian Bank and was part of initial Information Technology team and held different positions. During his tenure he successfully planned and implemented several critical projects in the IT across different domains. He also has rich experience in different areas of banking operations.  He had extensive experience in Project Management having successfully planned and executed projects for banks while he was Asst Vice President at a leading banking solution provider. He had successfully lead many IT Risk Assessment projects and ISO 27001 projects while he was Lead Consultant, Information Assurance at a leading Information Security Group.

Kumar has worked on several audit assurance and consulting assignments while he was working in IS consulting organization in Chennai, Pune, Riyadh, Mauritius. He worked as head of Information Security Group in one of the top software companies in Chennai. He has a rich experience in IT audits, IT internal controls reviews, IT Risk assessment and Information Security Management System (ISMS) – ISO 27001:2005.  In his audit and assurance profession, he has successfully handled several engagements in banking and financial services, Retail, Telecom, oil, IT and manufacturing industries.

Kumar is also experienced in training employees and students on Information Security, Compliance and Risk Management. He was a guest faculty for RBI, Chennai, ISACA Chennai.  Currently he is guest faculty at IFMR, Chennai, a Business school and few IT companies and colleges.

P M Shareef is a Certified Lead Appraiser and Auditor; a Principal Consultant at ProMinds has over 15 years experience in IT/ITeS Process Industry with consultancy, training and appraisal experience in multi-domain and multi-cultural environments. As Principal Consultant he is overall responsible for leading a specialist consulting and auditing team to deliver consulting, implementation, training and assessment/appraisal/certification services using process improvement models/standards such as CMMI, ITIL, eSCM, ISO, Six Sigma, etc.

Shareef is a Research Scholar: Phd (Software Engineering), Anna University– In Progress; holds M.S, BITS Pilani; M.B.A (Gold Medallist) in Information Systems; PGDFM, B.Tech (Honors) (Gold Medallist).

Shareef has a wide range of professional certifications and qualifications includes, SEI Certified and Authorized SCAMPI Class A High Maturity Lead Appraiser ITSQC Authorized eSCM-SP Lead Evaluator, SEI Authorized SCAMPI Class B & C Team Leader, IRCA Registered and Certified ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001) Lead Auditor, IRCA Registered and Certified QMS (ISO 9001: 2008) Lead Auditor, RABQSA Certified IT (ISO/IEC 20000) Lead Auditor, RABQSA Certified BCMS (BS 25999) Lead Auditor, CSSBB - Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, CISA from ISACA, USA, CSQA, ITIL V3 Foundation Certified, itSMF Certified ISO/IEC 20000: 2005 Auditor and a PMP.

He has led over 80+ SCAMPI Class A appraisals across the world and conducted over 100 ISO third party audits.

He had led, consulted, coordinated & participated as Appraisal/Determination Team Leader, Assessment/Appraisal/Determination Team Member for SW-CMM/ CMMI (Staged & Continuous)/eSCM based high maturity/capability CBA-IPI/ SCAMPI Class A/Capability Determination/People CMM/Six Sigma assignments. Consulted, trained and appraised major IT/ITeS companies in the US, Brazil, Greece, Egypt, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Vitenam, India like HP GDCC, Politec, EDS BPO, Cognizant BPO, Cambridge, DMS International, Financial Technologies, Panasonic, Syscom Engineering, Patni Computers, in IT Governance, Information Security, Service Management and Software Engineering.

He had established a distinguished recognition on integrated process definition & training (awarded best trainer) for ISO 9001:2000/ISO 27001, Software CMM, CMMI, Six Sigma & People CMM model/standard best practices and requirements, its implementation & continuous process improvement.

Professionally as software process improvement consultant, has undertaken & successfully completed various software process-engineering consultancy & research assignments. He was instrumental & key player in the achievement of ISO 9001 certification for more than 20 software companies. He has special interest & expertise in organization wide information security resource planning, protection & management.

Prior to ProMinds, Shareef had served various capacities in delivery, operation and executive roles in his past employments including Trimentus Technologies, SSI Technologies (Xchanging India), and Polaris Software Lab in Chennai, India

Y. Parthasarathy is a Vice President heading the Technology, Performance and Transformation (TPT) Practice at ProMinds and also supports IT GRC Practice. He has over two decades experience in various domains like Finance & Accounts, Business Process Management, IT Infrastructure, ERP, Information Security, Business Continuity and IT Service Management.

He comes with blend of experience in varied business domains including IT and worked for Fortune 100 MNC and IT Company at a senior level.  He was primarily responsible for managing, delivery and closure of projects including in terms of resources, deliverables, client interactions etc., He has expertise in designing the policy framework, definition, implementation, auditing and consulting of various management systems like ISO 27001, BS 25999, ISO 20000 and ISO 9001. 

Parthasarathy holds Masters in Commerce with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications and Operations Management. He is a certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor,  BS 25999 Internal Auditor.   Business Continuity Certified Professional (BCCP)  and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), ISACA. Apart, he is a Certified Global Business Leader (CGBL) from U21 Global, Singapore and Harvard Business School. He is also a Six Sigma Trained Black Belt and good in Lean methodology. He was the first one to quality across the globe for the highest security certification level (DISO 200 Level) from DuPont Information Security Organization (DISO), internally. 

He has good understanding of various business processes and its expectations from IT perspective and helped organizations transform using IT. He has vast experience in various types of audits including but not limited to Finance, Process, IT, ERP, Security, Continuity, Quality and Service Management. He has carried out assignments ranging from systems, network, ERP, web applications and management systems using best practices based on ISO 27001, ISACA and IIA.

He has good exposure and experience in development of various policies and procedures from different functions of an organization, including but not limited to Security, Continuity and IT Service Management, Finance & Accounts, HR, Production, Operations, Sales & Marketing and Research. He played financial analyst role and was part of Corporate Information Security and Business Continuity (IS & BC) practice of an IT giant. He handled the global security and continuity requirements of the organization, apart from his role in policy redefinition of the corporate. He was also entrusted with ISO 20000 certification requirements and policy definition for their internal IT function including training, guidance and support.

He had published technical papers in the IIA and ISACA Chapters of Hyderabad on Database Security and Data Privacy Requirements.

He also has good understanding of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing using various tools of commercial and OSS in nature. He is good trainer on ISMS, BCMS, ITSMS, Six Sigma, Application Security, Auditing etc.

While Parthasarathy supports service delivery in IT GRC Practice at ProMinds, he has also been the PMO Coordinator as well handling Knowledge Enhancement drive internally.

Khuzema Imani is the Head of Sales and Operations at ProMinds. Imani is currently focusing on Global Strategic Sales, Channel Partnership Development, Client Engagement & Retention, Service Positioning, as a primary role. With his cross-functional experience and being a fast learner, he also handles the Operations including HR and General Administration at ProMinds.

He has overall 13+ years of experience in IT, spanning IT Consulting, Business Development, Account Management and Operations. At ProMinds, he has been playing an instrumental role for transformation of the business and promoting the versatile capabilities of ProMinds to its next level.

He has been passionate and determined; and manages client relationship well. Imani brings a unique perspective of helping organizations analyze and solve business problems through aligning existing/ innovative ideas with his passion in building a business.

Prior to ProMinds, he served as VP - IT Operations at Satnam-IT Solutions Pte Ltd., Singapore. As part of this role, he was handling of Recruitments, Business Development, Products, Pre-Post  Sales, Profit Center for over 7 years. He had played an instrumental role in building and managing a business of IT consulting.  He helped build the company from scratch to create a client base of 30 plus major customer accounts with repeat business and satisfactory service to the customers in form of worth on return on investment as the main success line.  He helped the company globally providing Recruitment services to clients in South East Asia (Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia), Asia (China, India, Japan, South Korea), North America (Canada, USA), Europe (UK, Sweden, Holland)

In the initial stage of his career, he worked at Icon Systems Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad for close to 3 years in the business of licensed software package and solutions sales and marketing and after sales support and troubleshooting, business solutions for small and medium scale enterprises.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, from Osmania University, India and an Advanced Diploma in Advanced Systems Management from National Institute of Information and Technology, India.
